So why is it that I'm the only one around here who seems to have picked up mutant head lice?

[Joltik gives him a glare, because this is so not even the same as that at all. Vegeta glares back, turning his mouth up before looking back at the camera.] Either way, I'd like to know if there is some kind of industrial head lice removal product I can acquire, since nothing I've found at the shops in this Cherrygrove City you have here has seemed to work. In addition, I also need information of how I can start receiving an income so I can eat something of substance for a change. Saiyans don't exactly eat lightly, you know.

[Because what sucks the most is that Capsule Corporation's massive million-zenni income isn't around to fund his eating habits anymore.]

It's just a Joltik, I know someone who has one and those just do that kind of thing. Best way to make money is just pick up a job at a center or a Pokemart. Move boxes for a few hours for a week and you'll have some cash. Another quick way is to beat gym leaders, they shell out a lot when you wipe the floor with them.

That's nice and all but I'd really like to know how to get rid of it. [Joltik looks pretty perturbed, he's been nothing but sweet to Vegeta for a week now and his trainer still wants to get rid of him. Kill 'em with kindness, they always say, or until the Pokémon finally loses its patience.]

You know, you're not the first to tell me to get a job at one of these places. Though I'm much more interested in the latter that you've mentioned. I'm sure it won't be a problem. [He cracks his neck just to make a point. Even though he doesn't really get he fights the leaders with Pokémon, not his own fists.]

[The crack of his neck makes Vanitas just laugh a bit, but he nods again.] It's a way easier way to make money. Find trainers, kick their ass. You'll have more than enough in no time.

Well, if that's all it takes to get a little cash then I'd say I was dropped in the right world. There's nothing I enjoy more than a good fight. [The grin across his face couldn't be more smug. He's a pretty confident guy after all!] But yes, I arrived here about a week ago. As you can imagine I'm still getting used to things around here.

[Don't get him started on the music. He thinks he's going insane.]

It's easy enough to get used to this world really, when you take in fact that having all the badges makes you one of the most powerful trainers to the locals. The others like us, there are more with powerful Pokemon than not, but you can get a challenge out of several of them.

Good fights are a little harder to come by if you mean for yourself though, with the local folk being stupidly against it.

Stupidly enough, yeah. You can probably find people to fight anyway, so long as you avoid the officers who are bound to show up due to fisticuffs.

That's insane, what kind of planet enforces pacifist rules like that. They can go ahead and try to handcuff me but I assure you that they'll sooner find themselves waking up in their own hospital bed if they try something like that. Unbelievable.

What is it that the inhabitants do for entertainment then? Watch golf?

Heh, that's really going to be hilarious to see if it winds up on the news. Good luck, I guess. Entertainment on this world revolves around the Pokemon and having them do battle. Some watch the gym battles, since they're broadcast on the air.

Everything revolves around the Pokémon. [It's all he's been hearing about from everyone he's talked to. IT'S ANNOYINGGGGG.] Perhaps I'll watch one of these gym battles if they're supposed to be so interesting. I hope I won't be disappointed.

They're not awful for the most part. You can always spar with your own Pokemon as well, people don't complain as much about that. Really, you can battle any of them, they all have unique advantages, and it's how I've kept my own skills up to par.

[He glances up at his own Pokémon, and back down again-] I don't think I'll be doing any kind of significant sparring anytime soon if this is all I've got. It won't even make for anything better than a small mess on the ground for people to walk over as they travel.

[You know Vegeta, Joltik is getting pretty tired of your shit and it looks irritated.]

[He can tell the Joltik looks mad, so Vani just smirks.]

Give it a try, you'll probably be surprised at how much a punch it packs.

Yeah, right. [Fighting a bug. Vani must be out of his mind.] It's not fitting for a Saiyan warrior to be exchanging blows with...that.

[Joltik is about to show him exactly why he should be shutting his mouth if he keeps this talk up.]
